Walking Dead - Location of camp found?

I've been trying to figure out where the Camp is at. So if any of you have iTunes or Amazon, you can track this with me.

In Episode 104, 03:37, Jim is digging graves on the top of the hill. Behind him is a grey colored building whose top looks like a stack of boxes like a pyramid. After Googling around, it turns out to be this one:

It's the SunTrust Plaza and Gardens building in downtown Atlanta, Georgia.

Bing Maps

Using the above link, click on "Bird's eye" to see the bird's eye view of the Suntrust Bank.

Also at 03:37 the SunTrust building is seen next to a cream colored building. It's side is facing the camera. At first I thought it might be a residential building, but the Suntrust Building is in downtown. It's hard to make out the red letters on it, so it could be a hotel. Mariott has such a logo. The side of the building has two columns of windows all the way down. There are also some shorter buildings in front of them.

Okay, FOUND IT!

Bing Maps

So here, you will have to access the pulldown menu and select Bird's eye.

Thanks to Bing, I can view North, South, East or West. I am now viewing West (hope the link works). The hotel is the Mariott-Atlanta Marquis hotel. The two shorter buildings from 03:37 are also there. This means that the Walking Dead camera may have been facing a west direction, so geographically, the Camp may be East from here.

But what distance? The camera reduces the depth of field, making it hard to tell. However, there are power lines somewhere behind Jim. And it's a very green area.

What else do we know about the area? Well, there is along winding road up to the hill where they're at. Down the hill is a reservoir where Amy and Andrea were fishing.

That brings me here:

303 Peachtree St NE # 29, Atlanta, GA 30308 - Google Maps

Look familiar? As we see the sisters fishing, notice how tall the high grey colored stone is around the water.

I'm going to guess the camp is right here:

303 Peachtree St NE # 29, Atlanta, GA 30308 - Google Maps

There are two areas that appear to be high points overlooking the water - the SW and SE. I believe it's the SW area because (1) we've seen trees everywhere around the camp, whereas the SE area doesn't, and (2) there is a density of trees that looks a lot like where Dale's trailer is parked.

If you zoom into the water, there is a rectangular green-floored platform. This platform is in the background when Shane and Lori are arguing in Episode 103 at 40:04.

Episode 103, at 42:22, Ed is arguing with the ladies who are washing their clothes in the water. There is a sharp protrusion of ground that juts out into the water. This may very well be it:

So what do you think? Is the camp possibly here? :)

Yes indeed. Somebody had posted the mapquest/google maps images of where in Atlanta the tank was parked. I'd be interested in seeing where it is in relation to the quarry, to see how far the guys had to walk last night (instead of taking another car.) IIRC, Glenn was zipping down the interstate at the end of ep. 2, which suggested the camp was a pretty good distance.

I think he was actually just taking it for a joyride then doubled back.

If I had to take a guess, I would say that the quarry is no more than 5 miles away from the city.
Probably about a 1 1/2 hour walk.
