Check this out, i was just going through the Eragon movie site cause I was gonna go see it today and i came across this:

arya.jpg

The character Arya, with a dagger on her belt that is EXACTLY the same as the ones custom designed for V for Vendetta. Is this actually used in the film??..

Who is?

I dont know if I like the "Eragon" that seems to be etched into the side of this dagger.

While I like that because it has been "re-used" that more will be in the market...I dont think they should be branded with the name.

Pshh...takes away from the mystique of the prop.

i believe its UC, and ALL of the Eragon swords have the wording...stupid.

Wow. I did not notice that. Nice find. I don't recall her using the dagger in the film though. She uses her sword and the awesome curved weapons, but I don't recall the dagger.

So THAT'S why Windlass stopped making the normal "Vigilante" dagger.... so that they could sell out the design to Eragon.

She doesnt use it in the flick, just wears it on her belt in the last scene of the movie, you get brief glimpses and it never leaves her side.

It is kind of sad they couldnt take the time to make a static dagger hilt, considering it never left her sheath on the belt, let alone has 4 seconds of screen time.

thats what happens with cheap movies that spend all their money on effects :p
