Value of POTC Necklace Prop

I'm thinning my collection and would like to list my POTC Necklace in the Junkyard but I don’t remember much about it.

Can anyone tell me who made it, how much it sold for.

AND if you know of a current value that would help to.

The version with the chain is a little harder to find since they switched to leather thong for the necklace, but these still don't go for much. $20 maybe? All the other small POTC props tend to sell on eBay for about $10.

what's it made of? is the chain the same metal? i got a medallion from a shop in the Smokies, but it came with the leather thong.

i think these went for around $125 back in the day. It was a run on the RPF before the MR one came out. cast of a metal alloy called 'Pirates Gold' if my memory serves me right. Not cast of an original, but a very well done prop. I still have mine and intend to keep it (also have the MR one)

no chance of knowing what this ''pirates gold'' is, then? i'm particularly interested in the chain since, as i said, the medallion i bought has the leather thong, and i really prefer the chain.

All sounds right. I still have my "pirates gold" from this run nicely framed in a shadowbox.
