Vader replacement lenses

Does anyone know of a good source for replacement Vader lenses? I can't use the Triktoys ones b/c I opened up the eye sockets in my Rubies helmet. Lenseman appears to have dropped off the earth too...
 
only other person that used to have them was a seller on ebay. that and lensman. i got mine from lensman, but apparently he quit makin them. like we dont know already, i havent seen any around on ebay in some time since that other person i run across there.
 
There is another seller on eBay, icphysics, who is selling lenses and back screens (grey lenses). He's in Thailand but I gave it a shot and am going to see how they are. I'll let you know when I get them.

Grey lenses? I could never get the pictures to load when checking out his auctions... looking forward to hearing what you think of them.
 
lol well i didn tknow that. i was given his email addy, and contacted him that way. later i seen the ebay name and thought it was someone else sellin off some of his lenses
 
I got some lenses from icphysics. His service is great and the lenses are good and inexpensive. I think he is an option.

I won a pair and paid back on May 2nd but have not recieved them yet. He emailed me back and said they had shipped, so I'm waiting.....
 
My wife just told me that the lenses came in. She said "the packing is pretty crappy, the screening was loose, the lenses were packed in cloth at least." Her review isn't too hot..."the lenses seem thin, and have bubbling, I couldn't wear these for trooping."

Any wonder why I love her! :love

I'll post a full review and pictures when I get home later tonight.
 
Its amazing that all the things we do to our Vader costumes and the lenses seem to be the biggest PIA....

I have some temp ones in for the time being but really want to upgrade.

Well, keep looking. These are not at all worth it. I hope James Kenobi's are better.

They are thin, they aren't too bad to look through if you're trooping, but one of mine has two bad warps on it, and for my DP DLX copy they will need some reworking (expected it). The back screen is just...there. Nothing special. Big disappointment, but I suppose they'll work for my mask since I'm only going to display it.

I bought some from icphysics as well and they're disappointing to say the least. You're better off with Portumac lenses. Here are some pics of mine:

Wow back when I was working on my vader mask the tusks where the hard part to find.

Where do you find that mesh for behind the lenses ?
I might want to put something like that in my mask.
