TELL ME that isn't Vaders TIE and his breathing sound straight from the ANH trench scene...

Also you can here saber sounds mixed in with electricity a few times in the cobra-la movie. 4:20ish is just ONE example.

Thought it was odd and never noticed before. Did LFL have anything to do with gijoe? Or was their sound dept just lazy? :lol

Yup. You can even hear where they cut off the breathing sound.

They use a lot of the same sound effects in G1 Transformers cartoons as well; from the blasters to the TIE fighters.

A clip straight from the movie. Not just the same sound file. When it zooms in to Vader in the cockpit adjusting the controls.

I know sound files like the wilhelm scream etc. are used a LOT... but this is an audio clip from the movie!

But then again those sounded very simmilar!

AGAIN, I'm not saying it's the same sound effect.... I'm saying its a straight up audio clip from the trench scene in ANH! Which seems kinda odd...

Absolutly several sampled Star Wars sounds in that clip, no doubt about it.

I remember the laser gun sound from somewhere else first though.

Not just reused effects from a sound library.

I would think one was more ok than the other...

i wasnt just referring to this particular scene from the joe movie, i was referring to the entire show in general, atleast during the sunbow period.

have you watched the show before and were wondering? or were you making an exclamation? i dont understand what answer it is exactly you're wanting.

Yes I do remember hearing Vader's Tie and breathing in that episode. They even used the soud effects of Vader's Shuttle in an episode too.
