Vader ANH belt detail

A question for the detail obsessed Vader fans...

Is there a small partially hidden press-stud to the right of the belt buckle on the Vader ANH belt?

I've been studying screen grabs and so far been unable to tell for sure. In some shots, it looks like there is something there.

Whatcha think?

That's one of two rivets that permanently hold the leather to the belt buckle. The bottom one is just peeking out a bit.
Here's a pic of my belt with some new mods. I haven't decided which scene to match the weathering to on the belt boxes yet.

Excellent, thanks for your input Gino.

I see your belt has a 'belt notch' hole to the left of the buckle, too.

Actually it has about 5 or 6. All the belts for the films were attached this way. They attach in the front. They are pulled tight and then hook into whichever hole fits snug just like when you put on a real functional belt.

i added the studs etc when doing mine and tbh it gives it a more gritty look, like its more industrial rather than just a fancy belt. well worth doing

Here's another pic of my belt wit the additional details. I still need to file the notches in the buckle square:

please elaborate on notches to buckle square, think its something ive missed

The 5 notches on the ANH buckle were square at the ends, nort rounded.

A simple amendment to the russrep buckle will take care of that. :)

And the face plate of your buckle should be a bit uneven, ;) I painted the screws on my Boxes black and weathered them a bit. As far as i can tell in some pictures they look black to me.

Kev, what did you use to square the slots on your buckle?

Chris - I just used a small file to square the ends off on mine:

Here's my belt with the rivet added and the squared ends:
