UPDATE: 66.4% progress on ROTJ Vader

I'm a member at a few of the other forums and having been surfing this one for awhile and was finally able to join. I got a lot of info from this forum as well as the others. Here's some pics of the progress of my costume.

The leather body suit is being custom made as we speak. And I still need chest box, belt, robe and cape and I'm probably gonna go with a Porty neck brace.

Are you modifying the Rubies Supreme Edition Vader costume? I'm not really sure what the Supreme Edition would look like?

It is a modded Rubies. you can tell by the center ridge on the dome. Nice paint job. :thumbsup

it's a f/g cast from a rubies. i bought it already finished. i didn't paint it myself.

and i know the saber is esb. just because i'm new to THIS particular forum does not mean i'm naive about my stuff. rotj arent as easy to find and i had the saber for awhile before i decided to work on a full costume.

Received my Artisan Props cod today and it is spectacular. The pics do it no justice. It is beautiful in person.

I currently have my ROTJ Vader in a box in the attic,It needs a few bit's to complete,but I must say that when Vader is there in front of you it's just sooo cool,he's a big guy..........well worth the time and effort.

i hope to get a rotj saber one day soon.

Just received my leather body suit from Claudio in Argentina. I quickly threw on what I have so far and took a pic. Some things might be a little crooked, but I was in a hurry to try everything on.

Belt box pieces ordered saturday, so I'll be getting started on that within a few days.

Lookin' good, Ron. You might wanna add extra top padding to the faceplate so that it sits higher on your noggin and on top of the armor instead of going under it.

if i put more padding in the helmet, it sits TOO high and the gap between the chest and helmet is too much.
