Upcoming Dredd Auction

I share this with you guys because I highly respect the work you all have done here. I could easily hope that none of you see this, and try and win stuff for myself... but if one of you talented folks could win an item and reverse engineer it, I'd hope you would make that available to us less artistic people.

That said, I saw an ad online that says there will be an auction on E-bay through a seller starting January 28th that will feature actual props from the movie to include FULL sets of Judge uniforms. I personally am ready to max out my credit cards if these are legitimate (I really want a full set).

Anyway... here is the information. Please, if you win something and they are in fact REAL items... share them with us. Help those of us trying to get these full suits together:

Again, PLEASE help each other out here. I'm sure this stuff will go for a lot... so if you score an item, do us a favor and give us photos, dimensions (measurements) and whatever else to go about making our own. If you absolutely don't need the item, don't bid. Let others try.

I sure hope I can land a full suit. That would make my YEAR. That and my birthday is around the start of the auction. Would be a nice present for myself. Haha.

If I did get one... can only imagine how much they will go for... you guys can expect a FULL report on every piece. There's so much unknown right now that getting a hold of something authentic would be amazing.

As Dredd is giving the rules to Anderson of what is fail during the assessment, I did notice the security officer in the background standing on a set of stairs. Pulling up the DVD now to see if that matches.

I watched it last night, there's a few of them around in the Hall of Justice, but there's no close up to show the design of their helmets. I kind of like those little details that are hidden.

Yeah...

They line the hall (two of them in the single scene). No details at all. But I imagine the helmet will look very similar.

Excellent idea to share or "reverse engineer" autentic items from the auction...not just for the "less artistic people here", but for people with very thin wallets too lol.
