Unique-Looking Bio Helmets From Comics (Pic Heavy!)

I know this would probably be better in the reference gallery, but since that forum is closed I'll be putting these here.

I'm not going to take pics of every single Pred simply because plenty of them look just like ones in the movies. These are some of the ones that really stood out.

I did not draw these pictures - these are simply screenshots from digital comics that I LEGALLY PURCHASED from Dark Horse Comics.

From the various Predator series:

Bad Blood:

This is my personal favorite bio-helmet just because it looks so different from any one seen anywhere else. I also included the bad blood predator because his armor/the mark on his head are so cool looking.

Prey to the Heavens:

Onto the AVP series:
AVP: Prey
Not exactly a unique-looking mask, but still, it's Dachande. Who DOESN'T like Dachande?!

AVP: Three World War

Not exactly a bio-helmet, but still.

Well, those are all the ones I could find in a quick lookover! Sorry if there was a better place to put this - I just figured I'd post these since maybe they'll inspire someone to do a new build :)

The Bad Blood pic has the Bio of the Arbitrator.

I've been wanting to do one of those ever since I read that comic :D

I got into sculpting and molding latex last year, so now this years challenge is doing resin :D

Many thanks for those reference pics!

You totally need to do that bio.  I'm not a big fan of much of the custom stuff, but that one is cool.  In fact, now I'm kinda expecting it lol

I can't say as I know who Dachande is, so it may be safe to say I don't like him (is he a predator or what???) lol.  In fact, since he's not the jungle or city hunter I can say without a doubt I don't like him.  I'll assume he's from the comics, which I have not read.

Dachande started as a comic, but was als in the novel AVP Prey. He was a grizzled and battle scarred elder (Dachande means broken tusk) who fought alongside Machiko Noguchi, if you have heard that name before, to fight against Xenos. It is the inspiration for the film AVP.

If you make it, I expect one sent my way ;)

Hahahaha just kidding but seriously, do it! Personally I like seeing bio-masks that stand out from the rest.

Dachande is probably the only predator outside of the films that has any character.  His story gives us a great insight to the heirarchy of the predators as well as explaining the connection between the Predator and Aliens worlds.  He fights along side of Machiko Noguchi in the novels and comics, the character in the first AvP film is modeled after her slightly, although Dechande, is nowhere to be seen in the film.

Broken Tusk was the name of the main pred in an AVP script i read, must be 13-14 years ago. Pretty sure the human female was machiko. It was on "Drews Script-o-rama". Not sure if it was a comic story turned into a film script? But really good!

Broken Tusk was the name that Machiko gave him. And yeah, the script would've been based on the comic. Honestly, I wish they had made THAT into an AVP movie rather than the crappy Antarctica and Colorado crap.

Seriously, there was no good reason not to put us in space, in the future.   They didn't do the cross over the right way that's for sure.
