Much better than a lot I've seen. Far too many put far too much dirt on their models.

I prefer a more toned down look myself. In my opinion the studio models are a bit overdone. I am sure most of that is because the lighter stuff gets totally lost when it gets to film

I tried to do that when I made a post ROTJ Rogue Squadron X-wing and yours looks waaaay better. I rationalized that they would have better upkeep at that point and for that squadron.

I guess there is way to much modelling products that are being peddled by some European companies, making people believe that they have to use bucketful amounts of filters,washes,and pigment on there models. Still learning myself to pullback and let the dust settle before I grab some oil paint & turpentine.
