Under the Dome TV Series Discussion

Continuity is becoming a problem as well. Anybody notice in recent episodes that the area outside the dome is no longer an obliterated wasteland from the MOAB, like was clearly shown when they dropped the bomb? Oops.

yeah. That's a major one. Since I'm not paying much attention I just thought I missed something.
 
I can't believe I am going to come to the defense if this turd, but the MOAB damage was only on one side of the Dome.

It was mentioned that the dome is semi permeable
 
Can they dig a tunnel to get out of the dome? I remember an early episode where JR went to this underground place and the dome had made it through that part. So I've assumed that if you dig a hole, the dome will just extend and cover that spot up?
 
The water was coming to the wells from the lake via underground - still within the dome's "sphere of influence" :)
 
Yeah this show is going weird. How long can they stretch Barbie nailing the red head without her knowing abut her hubby's demise?
 
Now for me the poor quality of the performances are starting to aggravate me. The red head is terrible and so are all the two kids and the teenage chick. They are terrible actors. And seriously, you are trapped under a dome with food running out, no way the farmers can feed them all, and that girl is most concerned about getting the deed to the diner?!
 
I feel that when this is all done I'll look back in the story and realize that most of the plot was completely unnecessary.
 
Is this show still on? Not long after my last post I gave up, stopped recording it, and looked up a summary of the book on Wikipedia. The show was so bad I did not want to even read the book.
 
I thought it would be better this season after they killed off that annoying blonde girl, but it just got so bad that I stopped watching it. I expect it will get cancelled without ever reaching a conclusion. Not much of a loss, IMHO.
 
It had gotten to a point where I couldn't continue watching, but did continue to record it with intentions of getting caught up one day. My DVR crashed two days ago and I lost all my recordings.

So much for that!
 
Anyone else getting suckered into watching it tonight?

I look at this show like a car wreck...you don't want to stare and watch but you cant help yourself. Hopefully it shows more of the outside world like it teased at the end of last season.

I'm going to DVR it. I watched the first two seasons....I'm on for the ride. Besides, there's nothing else on much better during the summer.
 
It plays like a cheesy B movie. There are worse shows that are out there. I am cutting the cord this summer so I can't get too picky. :)
