UGO Does Another Anovos Exclusive: Star Trek

Thanks ! Just fyi - these are true prototype shots that were taken. This is what we call the "Flow Test" where we simply mock up a quick pattern and assembly, purely for the sake of comparison of what its like to use the CORRECT fabric. The differences between this and what's currently available is immediately staggering. Just in the fabric choice alone, there's an immediate sense of authenticity to the outfit. Its that certain subtlety that one can immediately differentiate between a Kmart suit vs a fine italian woolery suit.

Can't wait for these outfits!
Are you doing the cadet uniforms too? I know several costumers who are really into those outfits.

And I'm especially excited to hear that Classic Trek uniforms will be forthcoming, and out of velour, like in season 1!
I'm curious as to whether the Kirk uniform will be produced in the gold tones as they appeared on screen, or in the greenish hue as they existed in real life.

We are still considering the cadet uniforms but have our heads buried in the sand just getting the officer XI outfits out.

Great shots of the prototypes! Glad to see approximate prices too~
Keep up the good work!

BTW- these are no sacred bulls. I know these are prototypes, but please provide feedback on the glaring fixes you see on them. We want to make sure our checklists match up with yours. Its the RPF way :)

Man those look nice, and that was a nice write-up. I cant wait for the BSG BDU's. They are one of my favorite Sci-Fi uniforms. I am a sucker for OD green though...

Keep up the good work, and sorry, I did not see any glaring problems with the photo's I've seen so far.

Excellent news!

What does the $400-475 price range stated include? Is that a tunic only as the pants range is listed later.
Boots?

Will there be an away kit set to go with it so you can have a belt, communicator and a phaser?

I know lots of questions, but I really am impressed to see this moving along and so far it all sounds excellent.

Jose,

You spelled it wrong... it's Star W+A+R+S... not Star T+r+e+k. ;-)

Looks beautiful, man! Can't wait!!!

I'm curious as to whether the Kirk uniform will be produced in the gold tones as they appeared on screen, or in the greenish hue as they existed in real life.

No worrys about that since they are doing the velour first iirc.

I'm sure when they do the Nylon 3rd Season it will be avocodo green

Chime in if I'm wrong Jose. :)

I'm assuming both the "stunt" and "hero" lines will have the delta sheild printed fabric? Love the idea for the two price points, by the way.

Also looking forward to seeing the velour TOS tunics done right.

Great feedback guys - The idea of the stunt vs Hero came from the actual archives. They literally had two versions - thus, we wanted to replicate both versions . This way it would meet at least two categories of costumer and be a bit more price conscious. Please also note that these were ranges provided- we are trying to make this as sensitive to the current economic situation as possible, but we have to balance keeping the company afloat and our guaranteed obligations to CBS so they don't give us the boot!

As far as quality of fabric and delta patterning, I am proud to say that this will remain the same between both models. Some true enthusiasts will really like the two piece (long sleeve charcoal knit + uniform combo) and some people will like the comfort and breath-ability of the one piece. We are hoping that each person will simply buy both versions to appease any decision making issues ;)

The pants will only be Heroe's since there was more or less one type of pant with elastic Stir-ups just like the originals. I can tell you there is going to be an argument about the ribbing on the knees, but just like Star Wars, there many many many variations on the ribbing number as well as positioning on the originals screen used pieces.

Bob, I am just waiting on the call!
