Anybody here ever make one or know someone who did?

I've seen a couple mass-produced replicas over the last several years but nothing all that screen accurate.

I've always wanted one of these. This movie made me a life-long horror fan. :love

I've got the one that was released by Majestic several years ago. It's ok but far from being screen accurate. I'd love to own one that looked like the one in the pic you posted!!

There is no way on Earth I would ever have that in the house. I remember watching the film and had the creeps for weeks afterwards. As my wife will confirm it takes a lot to give me the willies.

So if some brave soul ever does a run don't expect me to be chiming in "oh I'll have one" :)

Ive only seen Majestic and one put out by Monsters In Motion, both are decent for what they are. This would make for a nice project for sure.

This segment of the movie haunted me for a couple years as a child!

Would love to see an accurate one produced.

I broke down and bought one of the mass produced Zuni's at a con last year. No lie not 10 min after I unboxed him, the damn idol around his waist falls off..... :lol:eek

I had a great resin kit of this guy about 10 years ago. Very disturbing piece. In fact, it's the only prop I ever remember my wife saying had to go.

Granted, it may have had something to do with my having stuck her favorite paring knife in his hand for display. :angel

Always like it, though.

I've got the Majestic one looking at me right now.

This question comes up every few years and nothing comes of it.

I'd love to see someone tackle this one day.

Looks like one of the 3 original dolls went up for auction recently. Or, what's left of it anyway. This one came from Karen Black's personal collection:

TRILOGY OF TERROR - Zuni Warrior Doll

Trilogy of Terror (1975) - Possibly the most iconic doll of all “living doll” horror films. This is the Zuni Warrior doll body from the personal collection of Karen Black. Only three dolls were ever made and the other two have never been located. This is possibly the only original Zuni warrior in existence. Included is the original body only. The original head was stolen from Mrs. Black’s home. This incredible lot includes a full replica of the original doll, made to scale, (replica spear damaged). Also includes an autographed black and white still and an autographed DVD. Original body (12 x 7 x 2) Replica (14 x 6 x 2) Box (18 x 7 x 9.5) This item is oversized and will require additional shipping charges. Please email for shipping rates prior to bidding.

Off topic, but nice avatar Rylo. Is that Eric Tan?

Here you go. This is the replica. Someone was selling one on here in the last year, but my wife said no, otherwise it would have been mine. :)

I thought Dan Curtis had one and back in the 70"s Universal had one on Display as well.

Yeah, not sure how much I trust that auction description. I saw the one at Universal in the 70's. I was just a kid, but it was the highlight of our trip for me. Maybe it was Black's that was on display? Dunno...

Same here I stood there for about a half-hour trying to figure a way to liberate him from that hot plexi-case! :lol
