So this came out in 2004, it consists of 3 levels, it has a back wall, support columns , ladders and barriers, and would have come with a selection of figures, mine was 2nd hand, missing some figures,-- which I've bought singly online since, and had a support column missing too, I replaced that by buying some ribbed electrical trunking, available from hardware stores, cut to size and dry brushed grey to give it a dirty industrial look, with an inner core of card tube to strengthen it, I also figured it would look better with an extra wall, the one on the left, so I photocopied part of the back wall, and pasted that onto some card cut to size and just attached it with BlueTrack for now.
The grey larger case on the left on the lower level is just plastic packaging from a pack of batteries, cut to size and sprayed grey.
The figures and accessories, crates (which open) and eggs came in "Swarm packs", which are blind packaged, so you don't know what combination is inside until you open it, luckily all these years later people have opened them and you can buy exactly what you want on auction sites.
There is only one problem with the aliens, the bases are quite thin and prone to warp, which can be sorted by gently flexing it.
The manufacturer also added another level of collectability by randomly inserting rarer figures such as a clear alien.
At some point I need to come up with some kind of (flashing?) miniature lighting to add to the nightmarish quality of the battle going on in there : )
