Hello everyone,
yes the old guy is back with a quick build while also building the 6 foot diameter endurance model for the Museum of Film and Sci Fi in Milton Keynes. I had a 1/16th scale tiger tank model by Trumpeter as a stand by for using as detail bits on a future model for the museum, but needed to keep busy while waiting for some supplies to arrive. I hacked the poor tiger into bits made the main chassis much bigger along with the turret and then dressed it with all the spare bits and bobs from other models. There is also a small rover car which is on a platform at the rear of the what was the turret and I also made a crane to lower it down to the ground. This was a fun build and just kept my old brain ticking over for a bit longer. Have a go and see how many bits from kits you can see, there is a great many.
take care every one ,
regards Barrie ( the old guy who likes to keep busy )
