Holy :eek ...!! I love how the beam flickers! That's some serious imaginary fire power. All that's missing was Gary Mitchel standing there with the beam pulsing off of him.

How come the first time i watched the 3rd and 4th videos there was no beam, just a green dot on the wall. Now the same video has a green beam? Also the beam is coming out crooked in some shots? Especially the second video.

a little smoke was added from a smoke machine to make the beam stand out better. No computer generated trickery was used. Actual lasers were installed by me into the props.

Where can i get one of those? Do they make any blue ones?

The laser is available from http://o-like.com/
There are a number of manufacturers out there these days.

I recommend that you go to http://laserpointerforums.com/ to learn about lasers also.

Blue Lasers (473 Nm) are very expensive to buy. Violet (or sometimes called "Blu-Ray" because of their use in Blu-Ray DVD players) is little cheaper. Green lasers (532 Nm) are easier to see and cheaper than Blue.

The power output of the lasers I have used can be dangerous to the eyes. The laser pointer forums website above discusses laser safety as well.

Thanks i will look into them. Some blue beams would be great for a PL refit. They need to be smaller though and i am guessing a little cooler than what you have there. How hot does it get?
