Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six -WTH haven't they made this movie yet?!?!?

After reading Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six again, I can't see why they never made this into a movie. Especially after 9/11 and all the Climate Change uproar this would work so well. Yeah we got Clark and Chavez in Clear and Present Danger, but we need that movie. I didn't think Willem Dafoe was right for Clark anyway. I thought of Clark as a kind of blend in anywhere white guy.

They are. Akiva Goldsman's behind the adaptation although he wants Ryan Reynolds leading it. I don't know how I feel about Reynolds as John Clark though...

Damn so good... the B plot with him attempting to rescue a captured american WHILE planning avenging the death of a prostitute is great.

I thought Clark was in his 50s in the book? I like RR, but I'm not sure about him for that part.

I always wanted a Without Remorse movie but anymore I seriously doubt Hollywood would make it and even if they did I'd be scared of how bad they'd screw it up.
