To anyone with a Master Replicas V1 AT-AT

I'd like to get a couple measurements from you if I could (non-snow base). Months ago I posted about an idea of building the Endor shuttle landing platform. I'm almost done the blueprints. This will make a fun project for this winter, and it'll allow me to get into an area I've wanted to experiment with for a while.... lighting!

I can provide some pics to your e-mail address to let you know what I need. Thanks.

Hey Matt, the SS AT-AT is my next project (alloy armature). I'm also looking for those measurements. A friend will loan his AT-AT.

Your house is starting to look like the lucas archives Julien :love
That will be an awesome undertaking. The armature seems pretty complex.

My platform will be about 28" tall if my measurements are right (platform gantry will extend out to the bottom of the side door/port of the AT-AT)... I just measured my computer desk height and it's 27.. so if I did a modular design with some removable sections, I could use it for a laptop table something.

If you are going to make a metal AT-AT, do not use the MR AT-AT. It is too small.

Yep, thanks Tim, not only too small but also wrong in many places :(

But it's a good 3D ref, and I have plenty of pics of the props next to a ruler to scale it perfectly :)

I was aware they substituted their own parts in place of the real kit parts, but are things pretty far out of whack on the larger dimensions, especially the legs?

I would use original kit parts and then figure out the masurements based on the parts and photos.
