What aluminum paint did you use? I am tackling a Silver Hawks project, and paint wise all I am finding is metallics that look as though they contain glitter.Ugh!

It is an own brand car paint from a UK store called Halfords. It just happened to be lying about and I was quite happy with the sample. Everything else had that I have sampled had that horrible glitter effect.
I'm thinking now just looking at greys/silvers rather than metal effect paints.

I thinking i'm going to lightly weather this piece too, highlight the highs, lows, recesses and edges.

I am not, but it has always been my intention to re-mold it!

Despite a couple of attempts, I've never managed to get enough people interested to make it worthwhile.

I love this build. The Sword of Omens and He-Man's Power Sword were two of my favorites growing up. If the dagger version looks this good I can only imagine how amazing the full size sword is going to look!
