Thor Helmet and Armor (WIP)

No update photos yet. Scraped the shin I was working on and started pepping the armor. All the little folds are hurting my head lol. I can definitely see why foam is a better route.

UPDATE:

One side of the armor is complete. All of the ridge are really tedious to pep out.

I think being crazy is a prerequisite for pepping any armor. But yes a lot of breaks were taken, and eyes crossed. Lol. Thanks I'm glad others think it looks good. I'm not sold by it completely bc it only covers the front part of my body. I'm exploring other avenues for a back to it. Even thinking about re-doing it in foam. Being a perfectionist sucks sometimes......

Update: scrapped old gauntlets for a more avengers style one. Made the templates from scratch since in couldn't find a pep avengers style gauntlet template.

first template didn't turn out so well.

second template was better but I still wasn't pleased.

widened the sides a bit. Liking this one much better.

final template design. The black areas will be cut out.

The armor pep is finished but it was too small. The belt won't fit my waist. Real life has been getting in the way so progress has been really slow. I wish I could find a superhero gig and be done with with lol. But I should have some updates soon. I'm going to go the foam route with the armor, because there will be zero maneuverability if I resin the chest piece as it is.... Stay tuned.

@banannahmock your armor turned out awesome by the way.
