His handgun:
A pretty simple one to find, its a chrome casting with a black handle. For option 1, I currently have this gun and I have to say it looks fantastic and very close to his version on TWD.

The handle may not be that close to his in the show, but it is close enough, at a very reasonable price of about $10 USD.
Here is a picture of him holding his pistol, as you can see the one shown above is very similar to the one on the show.
A better picture with him wielding it shows that it truly looks just like his.

Exactly! at least it is fairly easy to find stuff that looks close enough to the show.

Does anyone know of a coat similar to the grey one he wears in season 3 and part of season 4?

Yes i happen to know.
The jacket he uses is a Ralph Lauren designed grey walking coat. Cost is roughly $500 but it looks hella cool.
A grey trench coat would work, if you remove most buttons and put some leather around the neck collar.

Katana: (Optional)
For doing The Governor's look from Season 4, it wouldn't be complete without the katana!
Now i'll have to get back to you on that, as I'm currently looking for one myself (rubber or carboard) however most efficient way to do this is to make it yourself.
Belt(s) :
You'll need 2 belts, pants belt (aka a everyday belt) and a utility belt. Thr everyday belt will be for the pants, so they don't fall off, and the utility belt is for the knife sheathe and gun holster.
For the pants belt, go with a regular worn belt, and size that can go around the clutches of your pants top. Easy to find at yard sales, flea markets, goodwill, etc.
Utility belt, on the other hand, is far more expensive. Ranging from $15 to $40. So if you find one that fits you and is cheap, pick it up!
