The Punisher (2004) Colts

I'm just curious if anyone has made a pair of these or cast a pair:
Heres the description from WIKI and pictures of the gun
Colt M1911A1 (customized)

Frank Castle (Thomas Jane) uses a pair of heavily customized M1911A1s as his main sidearms in the film. His father Frank Castle Sr. (Roy Scheider) devoted some dialogue to the guns, commenting on how he bored the chambers, customized the triggers, and added some thread-on compensators. Some other notable feattures are their Novak night sights, the Smith and Alexander extended magazine wells, combat hammers and combat triggers, Kings Gun Works extended slide stops and extended slide releases, as well as Ed Brown Memory Grove beavertail grip safeties and front cocking serrations. The leg holster is not a Safariland 6004 but a custom Blade-Tech Tactical Thigh Holster.
An E-mail from the current owner of the guns explains: "The pistols are 1911's and the slide is marked COLT'S GOVERNMENT MODEL. The sight attached to the slide is marked NOVAK'S upside down. The slide is the same shape as a normal 1911's but on the sides towards the left and right there is a grid design."

I've been looking for these comps for a while, wasn't sure if they were a found manufactured part, or just a piece made for the film.

Nice to see someone bring out something close to the Punisher pistols again in airsoft. There's gotta be a license/copyright issue with the King comps and their 2 slots as even the old KWC's had 3 slots like this Socom WE. Only other thing that overtly stands out is there's no mag well plate and the cursive engraving of 'punisher' on the slide. But this is finally a decent option for costuming.

Is King's Guns in business anymore? Their website seems a little dated.

I keep searching gunshows and gunbroker and EBAY even for that Comp Kit but no luck so far.

A friend of mine has one of these and I checked it out for him. It IS DANG close to being a great replica.

My biggest beef though was the compesnator was attached to the slide not to the barrel like the movie's were. Well that and the slide engraving that says punisher :lol

King's may not be in business anymore. Even in late '04 early '05 I was trying to track one of their threaded ramped barrel & comp kits down for a 1911 pistol build and I couldn't find one. Ended up getting an EGW Full profile comp and a wilson combat comp kit (threaded barrel and partial upper profile type compensator) to eventually put together on a 1911 but haven't saved up to pay the gunsmith to install it all. You can try contacting Evolution Gun Works and see if they have any full profile blanks still but when I got mine from them in '05 I was told they had a handful in stock and didn't plan to make more.

I held my production hard castings up side by side to the airsoft version ad although its a nice replica, its not as accurate as it seems at first glance.
