Been watching re-runs lately and its still a great show and the Capri is right up there with legendary cop cars but i have always been fascinated
with the walkie talkies they used.
Were these actual units or made up props?
Has anyone collected or produced something from this show?, would be interesting.

Many thanks Asp9mm,
Thats opened up a whole heap of other releated stuff and releated financial issues.:cool

Very Nice Mega.
Theres one on ebay now but its too hot for me at the minute.
Pye was big in Australia so will have a dig around, might find a seller who
knows nothing about its TV history.

Its being screened out of order now so i`ll have to take your word for it philip7.

Cool display! MM, I used one of those old pye radio's et al back in the day and they were bad (real bad) but they were the best looking version around lol! I'd like to work up a pretty good CI5 ID from the first season with the blue stripe accross it but detailed reference pics are hard work!

They are quite rare but they do come up from time to time on Ebay.

Here's mine

I was discussing The Professionals with Paul (pauljones33) the other day. I saw it back in the day as a kiddo and my recollection is it was a lousy show.
BUT i've been catching a few episodes lately and i've really enjoyed them :D

Here's the other ID's from the UK ebayer and some screen caps to match them too...they aren't a bad effort and infact Bodies real hand drawn prop is fairly typical of the rubbish paper props knocking about the 70's. The repro is an improvment in quality if nothing else.

Those ebay ids are fantastic for the price, had to get a couple to kick off the collection. Thanks again Mega.:cool

:lol That genuine hand drawn prop is appalling
(although who am I to talk :unsure)

I picked one up recently and its in great shape, did some research and found the appropriate batteries and its got some sweet 80`s static goin on.
The cheap id`s go perfect with it. Just gotta find someone else with one close by..............
