How does the compensator connect to the gun/barrel?

It came with a longer guide rod, so you just slide it on and at the tip of the guide rod there is a hex screw keeping the compensator in place

There is a company that makes replicas of them without the logo engraving on the side, but for all intents and purposes its the same comp. Looking at getting one myself in the future.

Here are mine. The one on the black 92 is the SGS copy that was produced several years ago. I was lucky enough to find an original ALGIMEC comp at a gun show for $40, the guy clear had no idea what he had. I put that one on my reverse two tone 92 just like in the movie.
