The Patriot Tomahawk

I am toying with the idea of creating a replica of the Tomahawk from the Patriot. Only this summer I am SURE I say some highly detailed photos on here of the blade of a stunt piece but I can't find them for my life!

Is there anyone here who happen wo have those lying around and would be kind enough to repost them?

Yep. I remember those pics clearly too. Just searched all over & I can't find them either :confused

Somehow, I am almost sure someone was making a 'functional' throwing version in the thread (?).

Those reference pics were in a JY interest thread I think. That would explain why I can't find em either! :lol
A lot of threads were removed from there not too long ago.

Those were my pics. I too was planning on doing the tomahawk as my next project. I WA going to do it in pewter and acid etch the blade if possible. How were you going to approach it?

I was thinking about getting an ebay clone tomahawk head, polish that and etch the blade using either wax or nailpolish. Then temper it and do the handle and last that ball shaped tip. Would need to try etching on scrap metal first first!

Would you care to share your photos? THey had very high detail of the etchings I believe.
