The Party's not over!

SO, I have done as much as I could by the deadline I set for myself, being Halloween, and I gotta say, I couldnt be happier. It came out pretty much the way I envisioned it, give or take a few things. BUT.....originally I thought I was done.....nope. There are so many things I want to add to it, but I have another year to do that! I cringe to think about what this would have looked like if I hadnt found this group! Again I say thanks to all of you who threw constructive comments and ideas, and posted your methods and helpfull instructions. This board is a gold mine! Not to mention alot of support and positive feedback from Mortal, Mel, Pirk, Alan to name a few.....Kit...thanx for making it possible! For now, I am throwing on a shot of the completed suit, but I do hope to replace it with something a little more suited for a pred...as soon as I get the chance. For now, here's my baby! I chose this shot cuz its about the only one I have thats got the entire complete suit on..have to hunt down some of those peeps that took pictures that day.....

I especially like the feet armor, I dont think I've seen it attempted other than being sculpted with the foot. Nice!

Thanx again! I had a blast! This was my first time ever doin up a costume of this magnitude.....I cant wait for the next occasion to wear this thing! The feet probably took me the least bit of time to make, I just made it up as I went along...and I thnk they turned out ok...glad you like!

Wow...sweet! This threads still alive??!?! Havent been around much lately due to the ol holidays and stuff. Still havent got around to gettin a better shot...was actually hoping to get a pred in the snow shot (as in AVP), but this weather has been crazy.....its January and still no snow anywhere in sight! Anyhow, upcoming plans are to get a set of Shataan's/Seahunters blades, attempt to have the blades extend and retract on some kindof spring device, add on a canon, and make a spear. All for next halloween. Already lookin forward to it! Next Halloween I plan on hittin some bars/costume contests!
