i´m no parts expert but the middle part (liquid cable reservoir) looks like a female quick release coupling to me...

Went to different hardware stores... was thinking maybe a fishing reel of sorts.... no luck. Not even a hook that resembles that.

If someone could take some screengrabs of it from the Deleted scenes from TPM, we could atleast figure out it's scale. Qui gon used it to save the sub from falling down the waterfall when they first came to theed.

You can barely see it and it looks to be about 1,5 " in diamater. Intresting that they used and Arrow design for the spike instead of the roundish on the photo.

Wow... great job on that one contec.

That seems like a good enough size to fit in a decent size Jedi Pouch.....

Got my pouches from the Rebel Agent, and looking to put some really cool stuff in it... this being one of them.

Now if only how to make this, or see who is skilled enough to make this (I am replica-building-challenged).

Didn't know if there may be someone who can help me out with this or may be up to the task of taking on a commission on this...

The dart in the clip doesn't look the same as the one in the drawing. The drawing dart looks to be round, while the one in the clip that is stuck in the wall is flat. Unless they have an array of darts for various purposes. :confused

Looking at the drawing though (other than the hook) this would be a pretty simple piece to machine.

So... still curious... does someone know a machinist that wouldn't mind taking on this project?

It would seem like a pretty cool prop to make...

I was thinking that the spike could be attached to a casing that would fit something like a key extender....

You know... one of those things you put your keys on and then clip it on your belt.... then you just pull it and it has a string on it so you can open a door but still have it hooked to your belt. (I use one for work with my badge).

Just a thought.... what about others.... does this sound wack?

I do a bit of machine work in my shop unfortunately none of my machines are CNC. And that is what you would probably want if you are really going for accuracy. I would also have a tough time fabricating the hook. I'm sure though there are a number of folks out here who could give you a hand with this, or know someone who could make this spot on for you.

Well... this is why I'm here. The resources and people here are amazing, so that is why I'm seeing who would like to help with this.

Thanks TS... with Russrep the price quoted was out of the price range
....though I am SURE he would have made an AWESOME launcher...

Unless the run of it was a ton... then it wasn't worth the cost...
