Hello and Welcome to

This thread is dedicated to the works involved in making a replica Ironman suit.

With your input hopefully we can put together resources for people new to the process and also help those that do already know and possibly bring attention to techniques that work.

I have no idea whose PEP files these are but this is filled with some PEP files.

Need some inspiration? Check out these AWESOME builds.

Kagn has made some amazing helmets. Starting from a Pepakura base, it can serve as great reference to your own build. Throughout the thread though lots of tips about how to make your own can be found.


TMP is literally a master of the Ironman suit and can serve as a great inspiration to any person looking to build an Ironman suit. I need to point out though that the Armor is not a pepakura armor, it was sculpted from clay by hand and no CGI or computer files were used.


Zabana has excelled at the art of Ironman building. Starting with a clay build but meeting a few accidents he later adopted the Pepakura method stating"I do prefer to be sure that the piece will look as in the computer" With his innovative design with Voice Control and motorised hinges, if you don't get inspiration for this, you obviously don't want it enough.​

The Files on that wiki are mainly Robo's and Bimmer/dubean's
there are some that i dont recognize.

This thread could be really helpful to noob iron man builders.

Cheers, once it is filled out with all the information it will look great, but getting the designers permissions and gathering the information will take time.

Also gives people a onestop link for people to go to when asked questions like 'How did you make that?' and 'Where can I find the files?'

This is awesome! So glad someone started this. it will make finding out those minor details i'm still trying to figure out that much easier to find.

Yeah, I'm currently in talks with everyone I know with pep files about permissions etc. They only way this will ever work fully is if people help and get it running properly.

So far everything on the page is what I have. I'd like to get better reference pictures for each version of the helmet and I'd also like to put a description of where the Mark comes from for example Mark 1 was the first suit built by Tony Stark in the Afghan cave. Mark 2 was the test flight suit etc.

As with everything it does take time and I have been offered a job helping elsewhere now so may have two things on the go haha. Depends on how I feel in a couple days.
