The Hobbit - starts filming March 21

Dame Edna Everidge aka Barry Humphries aka Bruce from 'Finding Nemo' will provide the voice for the Goblin King....
 
Yeah Gandalf looks just as good as he did years ago. Doesn't look like he's changed one bit and neither does the look and feel of the character. The other pics have a, perhaps too clean digital look on them. I'm sure none of these are actual shots from the film and probably general PR imagery.

Loving what I see overall so far! So glad Peter Jackson is attached to these. I'm sure they'll be seamless and I doubt he's lost his marbles and going on some PT rampage decision making like some other old guy did to connect to his older films some time ago. ;)

December 14th 2012 seems extremely far out -but the way time passes it will be here before I know it. And from everything I've heard, it will be done right and well worth the wait.
 
Gandalf looks like he's been cleaning chimneys :lol He should be called Gandalf the dirty :p Bilbo looks GREAT! I'm really pleased with how things are going, can't wait for more pics!
 
Looking forward to this coming out! Worringly I went to see the first film four times, the second film three times and the last film twice...
 
My great fantasy still is that Morgan Sheppard will be hired to do the voice of Smaug. PLEASE, God. Morgan Sheppard. PLEASE.
 
I think he would do well. Also Sean Pertwee would have a pretty good voice for the role, although their voices are more "gruff" than deep, and I'm thinking there needs to be more depth to the voice.
