Hello to all those inhabitants of the capital wasteland, here I am again Danniel, with another project...
THE NCR RANGER SEQUOIA
1 - Well, as I have always done, I start with the base design. according to what I saw in the game NEW VEGAS.2 - Obviously in the process I cut out the figure, compare it with my hand and see that it has the appropriate dimensions
3 - I had to modify the design since it was too small in my hand, so I just enlarged the mold and cut it again
4 - Once I had the final design tested, I transferred the drawing to a plastic plate so I could cut it, the plate was from an old poster I found on the street...I clarify, I cut the piece x 3 because the material was not enough thickness
WONDERFUL
5 - Meanwhile, with a piece of Alamo wood (wood that is easy to carve) I made the sequoia cannon.
6 - The magazine used a container of hair bleach that I had at home, which I cut with 1cm EVA foam to make the walls for the sockets where the projectiles go.
7 - Now let's see how the dimensions turned out... I had a hard time finding a container that wouldn't make the prop look disproportionate...
BEAUTIFUL...but... there was still a lot to finish
8 - I cut the grip of the sequoia and the rest of the drum in EVA rubber since when handling the plastic container I broke it...once finished, all that was left was to see the pieces, assemble it and see the result.
AAAAAND VOILAAAAA....
9 - I had finished the process of assembling the prop, now came what made it more complicated for me...painting...

10 - I started by painting the prop in dark gray and with black acrylic I gave it that aged look... I painted the gold parts that corresponded according to the game model...
11 - Then I painted the grip of the gun in that brown color (mix several colors until I reached that tone)... to finish giving it the finishes...it was almost there
I used a small paper mold to replicate the golden bear and star on the grip.
12 - and after getting angry because I couldn't get the watermarks or the lyrics, I achieved something that I liked, so I finished this prop looking like this...
It is a prop made entirely from scratch, and only with recycled material, there are no 3D prints... I just want it to turn out well... could it have turned out better???? yes.... but hey... you face the problems and you solve them....
I hope you enjoy this process of assembling this prop... as I enjoy doing it... if you have any questions I have no problem helping you with your props... in terms of measurements and so on...12 - and after getting angry because I couldn't get the watermarks or the lyrics, I achieved something that I liked, so I finished this prop looking like this...

Have a very good morning and greetings from my dear ARGENTINA.
