The Amazing Spiderman 2 Web Shooters

Hey Everyone, WebHead1985 here and I want to share a prop I Customized. I wanted a TASM 2 Web Shoot but I didn't want to spend alot of money on it So I look on line and I found some for $16.00 on Ebay so I bought it. But I wasn't happy with it and I was going to send them back, but the company told me to keep them and gave my money back. So I decided to make them like the real thing, so here is my web shooters. I painted them and added all the details too them, I even made the button for the MP3 / police radio and I weathered the right web shooter like in the picture I saw of his. I added craft foam for the back of the shooters soon I will add magnets and straps for my TASM 2 suit.

This is how the shooters come its all rubber and its a dark ugly reddish maroon color and they are attached to a rubber stapes which looks really bad lol


So I cut it from the straps





Then I made the MP3 button on the left shooter ( with a makeup brush that the top of it came off so I used the metal part to make a perfect circle then for the button detail I used the bottom of a little screw.





Then I painted them Red and put all the details on them


I weather the one on the right side like this picture

Awesome work my man...im glad that these toy web shooters are close to the movie unlike the toy asm1 webshooters

Hey Everyone,
Thank you guys so much, I'm so glad to share them with you all and I'm really glad you guys like them. I worked on them for a few hours to get them to look just right. Also if you like the weathering look to get this look all I did was take silver metallic spray paint and sprayed a little on a piece of paper, then dabbed it with a paper towel. I looked at my reference photo and slowly swaps the edges to get the scarped metal look. I learned this by watching the BFX Indy Mogul Iron Man repulsor arm tutorial. They have some great videos, so if you have never seen them check them out, there really cool. Well thanks again every one and I will keep you all posted as I build my TASM 2 Suit.

P.S. I glad they look as close to the movie as they do too. I don't know how close the web shooters look from TASM 1 I'm New to the Spidey Costume community SO I will take your word on it. I will be making the TASM 1 suit as well when my TASM2 Suit is done and I hope all of you could help me with my TASM 1 web shooters. to get the right look well thanks again for checking them out.

yeah i so that video with the guy making an arm repulsor with cardboard, i gonna do exactly like you instead of buying movie accurate expensive webshooters,and also since you made them movie accurate... what paint brand have you used?

hey Yaniss, thats great well the paint I used was all acrylic the red color was 20636 Real Red (Gloss) the black I used 20504 Black.Noir (Plaid) the white is white blanco 02505 and the spray paint I used was Krylon color master indoor Silver Metallic. then used red craft foam for the bottom because the web shooters after you cut them out they are hollow. Also my friend here is a link to get them, they don't sell them on ebay at the moment but they sell them on there site and its cheaper then I paid. Spider-Man 2 Adult Costume Web Shooters

Hollow you say? So would there be enough room to put an LED light in there or some sort of sound circuit?
