So after a few months of procrastination, busy with work and school, and fitness, and family, I have finally started my Spider-Man suit. I bought this pattern from Carl9149 back in August or October, I forget and haven't started it since. So now I have started this project of mine. I bought the puff paint, the eye lenses, and the pattern so I'm ready for this.

I got the print in the mail from Fabric on Demand a few weeks ago and started puff painting it ASAP.

I wanted to create something different with the eyes, and I am currently selling these eyes on eBay as I'm in debate with myself for them since I'm a little indecisive at times with things like this.

So without further ado, I give you my progress with what I have going on, and am very excited to be doing it. :D

Here is the right arm I completed in the last week. (Both arms have been completed)

Here is the Glove and thumb (Both gloves and thumbs have been completed)

Here is the neck/ head part of the suit. (Both pieces of this are completed.)

And here is the back piece of the suit (Only the left side has been done, this is the photo of what I took earlier in the week, haven't taken a recent photograph of the final left piece of the back)

Here are the eye frames/ lenses I have for this suit (like I said, I wanted to create something different with the frames and lenses)

Feedback would be appreciated also and much input :D

Pretty solid start so far. Looking good. Lenses look pretty nice too. I like the shape and material. Just watch how you place them on the mask. That's what makes or breaks the whole build, you know? What are they made out of, by the way, if you don't mind me asking.

I'm not sure what material it is, I'm sure maybe some type of urethane. I got it off a guy on eBay by Jabez or something. Sorry I don't know what material it is..

It looks really good so far. I like the your paint job. I'm looking to put a comic book spider-man costume together and still debating on whether to paint it or not.

Same here, I'm thinking about buying the pattern from ordahar for the ultimate suit and puff paint the black webs and both spider logos, or do the entire suit like I did with this one. Long process but you gotta think about the long run, I'm enjoying this process rather than dreading it haha

That's what I'm doing. I've already ordered the pattern from Ordahar and sent it to be printed. His pattern looks great and I can't wait to get the print. I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up painting the entire suit but I'm waiting to the print to finalize my decision.

I'm still debating on puff painting that suit entirely, for one reason being I'm making a fan film and plan to use his pattern and have get ripped up a lot due to the battle sequences, and doing the entire suit in puff paint would be wasteful of time if the suit would be destroyed, ya know? But invade you do puff paint the entire thing, I personally will be thrilled to see what your suit turns out looking like with his pattern. I'm sure you're going to make the suit look amazing.

The final piece of the puzzle. Doing the chest and legs this weekend. Then to find a seamstress and finally put this bad boy together.

Okay so now, my suit is near completion. I still have many questions about how to put together my suit. Do I cut off the white outer part now? Should I glue the eyes on now or wait until its sewn? Is my eye placement in good position? Should I glue the eyes on and cut a hole for me to see through?

Don't cut the white part. Leave about 3/4 inch of white. Don't glue them on quite yet wait for the suit to be sewn(for better placement of the eyes). Great job so far, dude.
