Filming is currently underway here in British Columbia on the new A-Team movie. Set for a June 11, 2010 release date.

The movie stars:
Liam Neeson as Hannibal
Bradley Cooper as Face
Sharlto Copley as Murdock
Quinto Jackson as B.A.

Currently they are filming in the Ashcroft area and Kamloops lake. Unfortunately there was an on-set accident yesterday:

Hopefully the injuries weren't too bad.

And...
*Spoiler* Pics of the "new" van have surfaced:

My sister's boyfriend had to go up to Ashcroft today (where they're currently filming), maybe he'll see the van in action.

Mr. T says...I pitty the fool who made this movie if it sucks:lol

I'm gonna go ahead and say I suspect this'll be about as awesome as all the TV movies they make. Beverly Hillbillies, Dukes of Hazzard, Bewitched (that one was extra not-boring), Starsky and Hutch...the track record of making nostalgia TV films pretty much predicts what this one'll be like.

Having said that, Cooper as Face is dead-ass perfect. Perfect.

Cooper is solid...Liam is a great actor so we will see...
I thought the Addams family movie was pretty cool...but that's about it for t.v. into movies.

It will be a winner for sure, if it has some nice 80's dance numbers like this one

:lol

And oh yeah, I would not expect a cameo by "T" after this incident...

There were a few big screen adaptions of TV shows that were good:
The Untouchables
Starsky and Hutch (I actually liked this one)
Miami Vice (again, I enjoyed this one)
Trailer Park Boys (a 2nd movie is coming out next week)
The Incredible Hulk (last year's movie with Edward Norton)
X-Files (both movies)
Get Smart
Star Trek (this year's release)
Sacha Baron Cohen's Ali G character movies (Borat, Bruno [Ali G Indahouse could've been much better though])
The Twilight Zone movie was not bad too despite the helicopter accident.

Oh no he did'nt! Sorry dude, while I loved the X-Files T.V. series, the movies were a major let down.

The Hulk is a comic book. That's the problem with both attempts. They tried to remake the TV show.

So, does the van fly? Or turn into a robot?

The Blues Brothers and Wayne's World were both fine movies based not only on TV, but characters from Saturday Night Live.

And a fine SNL movie is a rarity that must be cherished.

You got me there--I enjoyed the Addams Family. And wasn't the Fugitive a TV show? That was a great one as well. Fingers crossed on this one, I guess...

Not too sure what to think of this, I used to watch the original show when it aired; several years ago I went back to revisit it and found I couldn't sit through more than two episodes.

Now they are doing a big-screen remake and I find I'm not to upset about it, the only thing I can say, given the information available is the cast, as good as they each are, don't excite me.

My dream cast:

Hannibal : George Clooney
Face: Brad Pitt
Murdock: Jim Carrey (saw that coming didn't ya')
B.A.: Ving Rhames

Now the Van - the obvious changes are, the paint job, the rims, the fog lights. Beyond that it's the same van, not suprising as most of these T.V. show to movie remakes feature the original vehicle.

*meh* We'll see how it goes...

This movie will only be good if and only if...

1) No bad guys die
2) All cars heading straight toward the camera, flip over after hitting a bush or hidden ramp
3) The A-Team shoots their silver barelled Ruger Mini-14/F30GB at the enemies feet
4) There is at least 1 hour devoted to a montage of the A-Team scrapping together a machine that carries them to victory, usually made out of tractor parts and sheet metal.
