Awesome build...is that flex vinyl or flex dance fabric.
I'm building an MK4 Ironman and the gold paint still shows holes even after heat sealing and plastidip...I've been shopping for material to cover the thigh armor gold and a few accent pieces.
I don't really care for the finish I get with mod podge, I'm going use silver metalizer on the red as I used red plastidip to seal and provide my primary red.

Great work, builds like this just get my mind turning for better builds.

IM Nation is this what you used? This is stretch dance wear/fabric used for making bodysuits, dance outfits and now cosplay...It's $6.97 per yard at Walmart and they cut/sell a small 1/4 yard for trial.
I had seen this a few weeks ago and kept it on my "found" list, when I saw this build I thought I get some and try it. I'm such a perfectionist the holes drive me crazy, but only on gold and silver pieces so I'll try on my MK-IV build in progress. Stealth Armor would be so much easier...lol.
Scrap unsealed and toe plate.
