After many Months of searching ive finally found a Judge Dredd Lawgiver that comes in kit form and once built is hollow.

Ive had the Naff solid Resin version and got rid of it pretty quick.

ok here is the dilemma

the LawGiver is unique in the fact that it repeats the users Command and down both sides of the Lawgiver a set of Red lights (LEDS) run UP and down.

Does anyone have any suggestions of what i could use for the LEDS that activate when it hears a Voice.

and any suggestions regarding a device that will repeat 8 commands

1/ Activate Lawgiver
2/ Single Round
3/rapid fire
4/grenade
5/ARMOUR PEIRCING
6/signal flare
7/Double Wammy
8/Intruder alert

I was thinking of something along the same size as a Rom F/X is it possible these could be converted to say these phrases at the press of Stratically hidden buttons on the Gun.

The Electronics would have to be small enough to fit inside the gun which i can measure when it arrives.

I hope ive explained what im trying to achieve so Can any one help or point me in the right direction

many thanks

I did a design for one of these way back. Never got the gun to put it in. I was using a small voice chip to store the messages on. You can probably get one of those small mic recording chip boards to do this. How to activate them is another issue. I was using a voice rec board that would actually recognize the phrase and then play out the corresponding response. And the LEDs would go up or down based on the mode. You can probably sequence the LEDs up and down using a couple logic chips.

You can probably fit everything if you custom make it. Not sure how much room you really have. Otherwise you will have to search around for some off the shelf boards that will do what you want and still fit in the gun.

You could always go for the simpler option of just having the gun cycle through the sound files - That being the case, a small MP3 player would be your easiest option IMHO. I know Maplin sell tiny ones, and if you do the same with a wee light sequence chip - Just have it rotate through the programs in order - then you'll have synched LEDs as well.

BTW, am I missing something or did you mean to put "Double Wammy" in there twice?

Also have this one waiting for the future.

I'd thought I slap together some electronics you can find as kits, like Velleman in Europe.

Having it to actually respond to ur voice is another thing and makrs it really complicated. For double wammy you should also make the barrel do it's moves, gegegege.

I thought I'd do it the easy way, when I ever get round to it. I have a resin version, but there's still room inside it. Are you going for the new Frontiermodels kit?
