Teamfortress 2 Demoman's Eyelander complete

I built the Chargin Targe a while back and never quite got around to the Eyelander. So on my holidays I had a bash at this brute of a sword.
It's 18mm MDF with an M10 threaded rod for attaching the handle. The handle is oak which I turned out of an old length of handrail. The pommel is a drawer knob modified with bondo.



I got so into the build I forgot to take more progression photo's but here's what I remembered to take.





I have nearly finished the complete Demoman cosplay for my son, which is just aswell as it's 5 days till the Con.

Well the cosplay went down very well at Glasgow MCM and it seemed a shame to consign the costume to the cupboard under the stairs. I found a good tutorial on Youtube from The Heroes Workshop for a duct tape mannequin with a plastic pipe skeleton. I didn't bother with the duct tape skin and just built the skeleton.
