i knw theres a lot f guys who takes the spiderman plastic masks as facesehlls,and it looks REALLY good
like this kind of mask:
Marvel The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Spider Vision Mask | Roleplay for ages 5 YEARS & UP | Hasbro
and then they sand the webs to make no 3d webs on the faceshell,and you remove the lenses,and you have a good faceshell

Thank you! Is the biggest my pecs have been actually, so I'm really glad eventhough that I'm nos as jacked as some spider dudes.

Today I started a half faceshell as well, don't know how to proceed though, ideas welcome.

Looking good man, and nice progress on the physique as well. Hey, if I could ask, where did you get that pep file, it would work quite nicely for something I had on the back burner.

I've seem it but I don't really like it. I think I'll might just bondo it out...

Gee, thanks! Although this is for the TASM 2 mask, I'll definitely use it in my new project.

Now, lenses! I made a mold using sculpey and molded the lenses with that thermal plastic-- I'm spacing out the name. I also made them out of sculpey but they are not dry yet. I spray painted some perforated vinyl and pasted it in a clear sheet. Now all I need to do is paint the frames!

Yep pretty much, I also glued the vinyl on the inside of the clear sheet to check if it was more reflective but to be honest there's no real difference.

Lenses finished. I also remade the faceshell, this one is awesome. I had to cover the eyes but it was still easier.

Also, has anyone noticed that the lower part looks just like the mask of the winter soldier?

Quick update, just wanted to show you the soles I'll be using. I bought this pair of cheap shoes for 10 bucks downtown and got the soles from a store that sells parts of shoes for 3 dlls. I'll be gluing the shoes on the inside and the soles on the outside. Obviously the soles are one size bigger so the shoes would fit. I know they are not Asics but I really like the soles, they got this fluid red thing going on that I think combines quite well with the costume.

Can you breath through the paperkura very well or will you cut breath holes later?

Actually I'm thinking I'll make just a half faceshell, but I built it all because I'd figure it would hold the shape better. I'm cutting holes in the head and forehead though.

Mask is done! Although is a little bit too tight, might not be able to use the faceshell I designed. However, the sewn parts on the mouth helps a lot to give the face a structured shape and fades away the lips. Gotta love the taylormcmanus alternate design for the mask.
