Hey Everyone,
Has anyone here ever done a Tally Hawk build before?
I did a quick search for a couple of key words related to Silverhawks and couldn't find anything.
I'm thinking about doing a Tally Hawk build and haven't been able to find any kind of Redtail Hawk Models or lifecasts of any kind anywhere. What I'd like to do is start with a model (even a cheap foam one) and build up with sculpting clay the proper mechanical parts of the body before I mold and cast it in resin.
After that I'd like to send it off to be metalized (rather than cast it in a metallic resin) and paint the parts that were supposed to remain organic.
Any help with a base model to work from would be helpful.
