just wondering if anyone has come across a stan winston lifesize endo kit. i have just recieved one that was bought at a profiles in history - stan winston auction. it has an assembley manual/folder from sw studios. it is from their original moulds and seems to be an unassembled raw cast endoskeleton.

does anyone else have one of these?

I have just "come across" a great Terminator find here in Savannah. www.imagimationstudios.com Hal, the owner, worked on t2, has a screen cast endo, did the mechs and built the "reveal" arm. Also, just found out he has a 30,000 piece prop collection.

Would love to see pics of what you have. As soon as I get to Hals, and if he allows pics, I will post them all here.

I miss Savannah, I lived there for 2 years when I was managing the Michael's Craft Store there. My frame shop had 12 people , all SCAD students and producing great stuff. That area is incredible for stuff like that.

here's the t-800

I have those same pictures I saved from an eBay auction. It looks like the pics were saved on May 17th 2009 so thats probably around the auction date. . Did you win that auction? I wanted to bid but it was out of my price range.

Have you received your kit yet?

i was told that it is from stan winston studios , but until it arrives i can't be sure. it looks pretty accurate and could be a recast of an icons t-800. i'm unsure but it won't arrive here until next week. I noticed a seem line down the left side of the skull , but everything seems to line up. Did your kit have a similar seem line? i guess i'll just have to wait until it arrives to verifiy its origin.

i didn't win that auction as it was also out of my price range , but as luck would have it , a guy on another forum saw my lifesize battledroid kit , and i did the trade with him.

I'm almost sure that is a Mike Tait kit. It's going to require a ton of work. I'd be interested to see what it looks like after you finish it.

100% Mike Tait kit... mold line straight down the center of the endo skull. This is NOT a Stand Winston casting... sorry...
