T-21 (LEWIS MG based) blaster "ribbed tubing"???

Howdy - I had gone to a Lowes and bought drainage flexible plastic hose and cut it down to make it a tight fit over the barrel of the outstanding hyperfirm BFG I had bought…then simply used zip ties between all the ribs. It turned out really nice in my opinion…unfortunately due to financial priorities I had to let it go.

Here is a different image of the ribbed section of the T-21:

I personally use a leaf blower part on my T-21 as was previously suggested.

there looks to be some kind of spine running along the top. If so, what is it? Is it some sort of molded ridge of a single part or spacers set in place to separate a single wound cord or several separate rings?

Seems to be either a matter of lighting OR a split in the rigid plastic (?) tubing they added to the Lewis.
It seems to be a tight fit around the Lewis receiver and you wouldn´t get it past the front sight without splitting it...that´s my theory ;)

Still looking btw :lol

Gentlemen, gentlemen...

I am very sorry that I disappointed YOU, my fellow fans and followers :lol
I even admit, that I don´t use a troop transport as my daily drive, but a simple Ford Focus Turnier. Need some space for my.......SON, so the blasters have to stay in the armory at the house ;)

Later, Markus
