hi. recently i took on a project of building the T-21 lewis gun from star wars. as you can see in the pic the front barrel is a little smaller then it should be. it is my first attempt. the correct size should be 2 7/8th inches. does anyone know where i can purchase or have tips on making the correct barrel. i brushed the gun with a drybushing of sterling silver paint to give it the used look. the mg-34 is a marco ent one that i got years ago and just converted to screen accurate. any help would be appreciated

Re: need some help

The only suggestion I have is to change your thread´s title to something more informative and less general than "need some help". A thread title like "T-21 Lewis gun conversion - help needed" will get you way more views and may attract those members who´ve been down that road before.

When I made mine many years ago I had only one photo and no blueprints.
I used PVC pipe and couplers and filled in the angles with bondo, for the raised rings I used strips of 1/8" thick styrene.

You can sort of see what I did in this pic.
I went with the vented look instead of the corrugated tubing.
