Hey guy's, first post here at the forums and first suit I made as well.
I wondered what would Scarlet Spider (Ben Reilly) would look like if he had the symbiote and here's what I came up with:
I made the web-shooters awhile back when I wanted to make something more similar to the coming, and not like the the one in The Amazing Spider-Man
Ordered a Black Zentai Suit from Ebay, $24.99
and a white hooded shirt from amazon $16.84
Designed a spider, made a stencil and painted it with black tulip paint cause it was what I had and because it is washable and doesn't really crack or anything
Made a belt out of a guitar strap, printed box like patterns on cardstock and then covered with aluminium tape, attached to the strap with good ol' fashioned duct tape.
Lenses were made very cheaply with paper, duct tape, aluminium tape and whatever white paint I found, with a rubber mesh from a back pack I had and flimsy plastic material from those bags you get at the dentist with a little hygiene kit.
$2 water shoes from Walmart, was going to make ankle braces similar to the web-shooters except longer, but ran out of time
I was very happy with the results, I can see clearly out the lenses, the shirt covers the zentai zipper, and lenses actually turned out pretty good considering what I had.
Didn't cut the sleeves cause I liked the shirt so much I'm gonna use it regularly
Let me know what you think!
