I would stay away from this one guys/girls. About the ONLY thing correct with this pistol is that it is a 1911. The engravings look to be decals......................
For the money just buy the plain version of this pistol (which is VERY NICE) change out the grips and engrave it yourself and you will have a MUCH NICER looking Dean Winchester 1911................. :cool

Do what you wish but the engravings on this pistol is nothing like Dean's. For one Dean's pistol does not have engravings on the top of the slide and two Dean's engravings are known as a floral pattern not a picture on the side of the slide. How do I know so much about Dean's Pistol???? I have one of the screen used originals.................... :cool I also have Sam's screen used Pistol and Sam's screen used Shotgun. I guess I'm just a lucky guy................................. :$
Dude while I say congrats on owning the Real Deal. I think this is for the people who do not have the money or the resources to have one. Just a link so if someone who does not have a few grand to get one this is an answer for them.

Thanks as I'm VERY PROUD of it................. Now with that being said I didn't expect anyone to throw crazy money at a replica I was just stating that I do not think this prop/replica is the way to go as one could buy the plain nickel/aluminum version and engrave it themselves and have a lot better replica than this. Just so everyone is clear I will be doing a replica of Dean's 1911 (airsoft) here in the very near future..................:cool Basically my plan is to have people buy the plain version (aluminum) of this pistol then have then them send me their slides as I will have them engraved like Dean's....................... :ninja
