Hey guys, I've been following the forum for a long time, before finally joining up! I'm starting my summer project off easy with just a can of Blue Sun Cola. Was pretty easy: Sand down a regular can, primer paint, regular white paint, then label!

I am planning for a goodly number more props large and small: with the eventual creation of a footlocker. I have acquired an old wooden army foot locker that i plan to make look like it came out of the 'Verse itself. :)

Enjoy!

Now of Course You need something to pay for that with, yeah?

I made up some Alliance money, and some Browncoat Scrip. I found the Scrip from QMX. The Alliance money was taken from other various sources. They are printed on Vellum 9thicker Vellum) and using a laser printer. They are plastic feeling and somewhat see through. They are pretty Shiny!

All the money:

Close up of a 10, you can see how it is see through-ish or Holographic almost.

Browncoat 20. What you cant see is that is has a green hue to it. You cna see the Holographic type look i was talking about.

Not done, but here is the biggest one I've made. This is an Original WWII Trunk. 1943. It was an un-issued trunk, just storage use.

I bought the trunk for $35US and set to doing some cleaning. It took about 4 hours to clean wash, bleach, and use baking soda to get the grime and scent out of it.

Here are some generic Pics of the trunk. Its pretty good condition, and it has the drawers in it.

I decided to paint some logos on it to make it look as if it had been through the war. I used a light and and some black spray paint from about 4 feet away and got around the sides and back. It looks like Soot or Ash stains on it.

The Top: I painted the infamous Wan Nao (TroubleMaker) symbol that Jayne wears. This was my first real attempt, I had some overspray, so I ended up making a semi-border top and bottom to even it out. I think it looks not half bad.

The front: This is the Chinese Symbols for "BrownCoats"

Much more to come!

These are looking great what all else do you plan to make for this summer project, or are you winging it as you go. eaither way this rocks.

I myself am an avid fanofthe verse, I even marched in the original 1st 76th Batallion fan group at Dragon Con. I also have a FF mal costume and a Serenity Mal cosplay that was admire by the Captain himself. So, great going and keep us all updated. Thanks,
