You can find these magnets almost anywhere you get crafts as well.

If you can wait a day or two, you might find a deal on ebay as well.

There like $7 for 20 at Michaels. Perfect size for the helmets. If you own the HB helmet, they fit in the per-drilled holes like a glove.

Any updates on this one ? I'm still going slower than a paraplegic turtle on this build, mainly because I keep dropping stuff, have to redo the paint job while I keep getting the wrong colours by mail, but one thing I'm finally glad with is the eyes on my faceplate (that still need a black wash and some polish, but is basically finished).

Might be useful to others grtting this helmet sooo .. care to share your eyes material? Led strip?

Yep, the lights are indeed a rgb led strip, and the eye frames are laser cut flat black and translucent white plastic thermo formed to the faceplate. LEDs are not fixed yet though, I'm still waiting for my new solder iron and a few other electronic stuff, plus I still have to design the hinge before I decide what goes where, the HUD being the bulkiest piece.

Red paint is a bit more "rough", kinda textured, than I'd like for unknown reason, but I'm tired of redoing it over and over, so there you go :
