Suicide Squad

Will Smith is capable of good performances, but so many of his recent roles seem to involve him looking bored and disinterested

Agreed. Hancock is one of my favorite movies. He was awesome in it.

With this movie... I guess at the end of it all we have to realize that the Suicide Squad isn't put together to be a team of likeable characters with staying power. They're all dirtbags and they're all intended to be expendable. I'm curious how well the movie will embrace that concept. These are not good people. I don't even think they're anti-heroes like Deadpool. They're villains. So if any of them die it should be "good riddance".

However, I'm pretty sure DC/WB will make them all likeable in some way or another.

I definitely don't have high hopes for this movie... but like someone else said, I'll still see it.

Wow, I'm impressed. How did you gather that?

The shape/angle of the grip and the screw hole, but also the overall shape of the holster.

So people just wander onto this set in costume and hang around the actors, and take video of the scenes 10 feet from where they are filming?

Is there nobody in charge of security on this set?

you cant stop everyone when you shoot in the open.

Have seen the latest pics and jared is looking awesome.

I can't say I'm digging his look. They went over-the-top cartoonish for this one. I guess if that's what you're into this movie could turn out to be great, but that's not what I was hoping for.

Can anyone tell from recent images whether or not those ridiculous tattoos are present?

While i wont say this with 100% certainty, it was cleared up that the picture was just for the 75th bday of the joker and in no way would he have the tattoos or even the grills in the actual movie.

I had heard that too; that's why I was asking! Doesn't that idea stink to high heaven though? I believe they may have pulled the ink at the last minute before filming in response to the public's reaction - but why release that as the first official image of the character if he won't have the tattoos? Nothing about those aesthetic choices speaks to the character's legacy or directly relates to the anniversary. Everything DC and WB are doing with these properties is so odd.
