Street Judges Armour/ Sloopjon

Got these today from SloopJon and as you can see they are AMAZING

cant thank him enough for what is quite simply flawless work.

I know there is certain members who feel he is slow with delivery ect but i can honestly say he alwasy answered emails and texts, and from order to delivery was less than 40 days (bear in mind he cast it all and finished in that time)

so while reputation is everything in here i can safetly say that compared to some i have dealt with SloopJon is as proffesional as they come.

so to close i would like to say a personal thankyou to Jon for making me one happy street judge

had more thoughts on the pads. was going to do a mockup but all the foam i have is too thick to do the outer panels

I saw examples of these at Memorabilia last weekend, they are superb.

Just a damn shame I didn't get back to Jons stall in time or I might have had to spend lots of money.....

Just a quick question ...how heavy are they?
Ive trooped in Minty's Dredd costume and it was a dream to wear.

What moto cross boots are you going to use?

Little tip when you troop...wear a sweat/headband. Its not visable under the helmet but it really helps.

compared to say the vader armour very light, as armour can be to be honest

Ive spoken to Minty over at the forum and they seem to have been cast pretty similar.
the whole reason i wanted to do the judge is for the comfyness of trooping in it (as well as the sheer joy of being a judge)

the build i am doing is using the same sources as the minty film, minty has been a great help as has Dan with info on the sources of gloves, boots ect
going for the leather made undersuit (considered adapting a plain bike suit but having it made is only slightly more expensive so may as well go for that option)

for obvious reasons my judge wont be identical to the minty but rather its my take on it. i genuinly love the minty judges and are exactly how id of hoped the film would of done it but after seeing the supposed test shots of the new dredd im horrified lol

Shim is doing a build as well i think Chef, i can give you the details of sloop if your also interested? think the GK need a few judges lol
