Stranger Things S1 hazmat suit build

Hi, over the past month I have been planning my next build and have decided for once to make a thread on it. I have decided to build the stranger things biohazard suit as a fan of the show. Over the weekend I started on the build process to create a buck to vaccum form for the top half of the helmet. The buck has been made out of foam and will be sealed with bondo in order to allow it to be smoother and Even though there isn’t much to show I’ll put some pictures below.

The basic shape cut out of foam, without curve:

Saw the thread and thought you could use some reference pictures.
Suit was made by Global Effects for the first season and due to the short prep time and limited budget, the suit used elements from;
Apollo space suit - boots
"The Signal" same type of body suit pattern - Fabric was a "Cordura" Nylon like this. It was over dyed to the specific yellow.
Outbreak, helmets (orbital surplus has one for sale on eBay right now)
"Flat track" motorcycle racing gloves (same as was used for Fierfly spacesuits, I think they are no longer made)

more progress, I was able to put on the bondo, there are a few problems but overall it looks good. I’m not going to have the hinge on it though may add it later on. Here is a photo of it after primer:

Yeah, They were the first I found. But if they were of Winonas’ suit then how is it still at Global Effects?

Probably, I’ll worry about the suit first though.

Here is that part. It's a exhalation valve seat, without the rubber valve.

Thanks, I was wondering what the tank was on the vest that Mike pointed out earlier as well.

The 'chest box' appears to be a replica Apollo remote control unit for the portable life support system, turned upside down, & wrapped in that same yellowy fabric. I strongly suspect that's one of the chest boxes made for "Soldier" (1998), later reused in Firefly. I dunno what the stuff is on the back side of the 'belt' - can't get much of a look at it. IRL, I suspect that's the power supply & fan to keep outside air blowing through the helmet to keep the 'glass' from fogging up.

I have started to design a 3d file for the main helmet from a scan I took from my physical one to hopefully add the opening mechanism and create a more symmetrical design.

and also was there any good images of the remote control unit to be able to put one together from scratch as all I could find were ones of it on an angle or blurry.

Ok, so its been a while as I have been working on many other projects and whilst deleting files stumbled across the reference images I had. I looked over what I had done and have scrapped whatever I had before but still want to complete this project. I have since learnt much more on CAD and have a new design from the measurements I originally got and hope that I can now say it's pretty much accurate except for the opening visor (that's next). I won't actually start printing anything until all parts are modelled and finalised. But back to square one essentially. Below is a quick render.

I have continued to design the hard parts on the suit though it is extremely hard due to the dark lighting in the show and lack of resources. I have used the pop vinyl figure to loosely base the design off but are open to suggestions on how to make the pack more screen accurate as right now it is probably way off. the pipes (in yellow) are just for reference and probably going to be made from store bought parts

Next I will be designing the Apollo remote control unit next, which has a lot more reference and will probably prove less difficult.
