Steampunk TOS Phaser 1 (DONE) Update in post # 18

She's about 90% done. Needs a PSI 'sightglass' still. Whadda think? I'll put her in the Junkyard when she's done. (Raising funds for a fan-film)

Tried to paint her to look like iron. Static, raising sight is set in place.

That's the 'steam transfer piping' that feeds from the (internal) steam tank into the pre-fire chamber. Man I'm putting too much thought into it. :lol

I just need to make a little PSI regulator where the power meter would go, and a bottom access panel and she'll be done.

I was thinking of a P2 with two of those air gun canisters strapped together with leather bindings as the "power pack" handle.....

Two of the air gun cannisters for the handle - brilliant. Can't wait to see the final product. To go super steam-punk, you could make a couple of mini-belts, complete with buckles, to hold the cannisters together, instead of just wrapping them w/ leather. Good luck.

This is what came to mind when phase pistol suggested a resemblance to Klingon design.

Here she is in all her steampunkiness. The prssure gauge turned out VERY nice. Even if I caould'nt grab a decent pic. I'm going to put this in the junkyard (raising funds for the fan film) I'll do a P1/P2 combo in the future.....
