Stargate Jackets & Gear

I've been doing a Jack costume for the last couple of years. Here is a pic of my load out.

I have some reference pics as well as prop pics here:

If you want to go on the cheap for the offworld OD. The show actually used a flightsuit for one of the other SG teams in at least one episode. Given that, an accurate vest ($110), flightsuit ($40) , patches ($20), cheap holster ($20) and boots ($30) Would run you about $250.

If anyone is interested. I do have two pairs of green BDU for sale. Very nice condition. PM me if interested.

Found the Zat gun kit cheap at C&S hobbies, got the holster through the vestguy, so added a bit more to the costume. Just waiting for things to arrive in the mail now. :)

Post pics of how well the Zat fits in The Vest Guy's holster when you get it. I haven't seen much feedback since he redid them due to complaints on SG-Command on many fitting tight. A few have said his new pattern fits their Zat's better, but no pic's to show fit were ever posted that I saw.

I just placed orders for the buckles, webbing, & other bits to make a few of the P90 slings. A couple of my friends want to throw together some generic team uniforms for Halloween. Not sure if the 5 way buckles will make it from the overseas supplier in time that they could be mailed out, but if they make it in time & my sewing machine holds up to stitching the webbing I may have a P90 sling or 2 up for sale in the junkyard, I've got the stuff for 5 slings coming. Slightly more cannon/accurate than The Vest Guys, using a piece of 4 inch poly-webbing for the back panel & 2 inch poly-webbing on the sides for the shoulders.

Pm me with the info in the sling if you would please. Would be interested in getting one once you complete them.
I have in hand the the Blackhawk vest, patches, P90, belts, waiting on the jacket, zat kit, and zat holster. Have tracking on the last two, just a couple of days but the jacket is much later than they originally quoted, starting to get a bit concerned.

Received the zat holster, works just fine with the zat kit I received as well. The zat has a bit of work, but heck, for 40 bucks, its pretty darn nice. The jacket is tracking via UPS, should be here on Tuesday. That will be it, everything together painted, sewn, ect by the end of next week. :)

Received the jacket today! :) Super to get from Flight Suits! The patch velcro was already sewn on, so the Legends patches went right on no problem. I have Servo's as well and will be getting those backing tonight so I have the different team patches as well the Air Force arm patch done.
The jacket is a lighter weight jacket, they did modify the outer pieces to make it screen accurate, something I did not expect them to do. A very nice jacket, definately the way to go if you want one done. There was no zip out liner, not a bad thing as it makes it a more seasonal wear type jacket, as well when you pop on the outer vest, your surprisingly warm and weighted down enough. The pants through the local surplus store was very cheap and matches up perfectly to the jacket.
I received the Zat and after a couple days, finished that up. It came out very well, did the bronze/gold hues on it. With the vestguy's holster, makes a super piece to display with the constume on whole. The P90 though eBay finished offecverything cheaply and nicely. So a super costume of SG1 can be done under 200 if you want to do it. Took aproximately three weeks from start to finish to pop it together and its well worth it to do. I was lucky to get the vest through a local distributor cheaply, made the costume all the better to the screen matching units.
To finish it off well, could still get the suunto black vector watch, jack cap, and an extra ammon clip holster. A bit much for the watch, everything else shoudl be simple if I really want to add the finishing touches for a bit more cost.

The jacket was custom made at www.flightsuits.com, which is now changing over to Gibsons and Barnes officially in name. You have to ask for the custom ripstop wep 8 jacket.

I just got some stuff in from Legends. If anyone needs pics of the Blackhawk Medic/Utility vest mods (shoulder clips, pocket velcro moved from left side to the right side pocket) just say so & I'll shoot some & post of the screen used & distressed vest I just got in.
